I have a story for you.
A Sci-Fi story where the Science is the immortal science of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism.
A story about Baseball and, more importantly, Economics.
I will tell this story on this blog in serialized chapters, eventually to be compiled into a roughly novel-length book.
My creative process is infinitely indebted to the works and authors I will be shamelessly ripping off from Jon Bois' 17776 above all else, but I'm also ripping off Madiha's Unjust Depths, Blaseball, and Dmitry Glukhovsky's Metro series, among others who I will note when I can recall them exactly.
The painful 'elevator pitch' version of this story is as follows. A small-town professional Baseball team on the borderlands of a Post-Post-Apocalyptic America struggles to survive and play ball, dealing with rival teams, while being caught in the economic and political throes of an oncoming continental war. Comedy and Horror follow.
It may take a few weeks for the first section to be published here, I am still very much in the research phase, and will update sporadically. It is very important to me that this world is not without organs, so to speak, and I'm right around designing the epithelial cells.
This Blog is dedicated to the brave soldiers of Hamas, our brave kasamas fighting the good fight against the Marcos regime, and all those who struggle against imperialism.
